We are seeking an exceptional Director of Caregiver Experience & Human Resources to lead the recruitment, development, and engagement of a high performance caregiver workforce. The Mission of This Role The Director of Caregiver Experience & Human Resources will ensure that we have the right caregivers, with the right character and capabilities, prepared and motivated to deliver an exceptional client experience. This leader will build a proactive talent strategy that supports our growth while protecting the culture and standards that distinguish Seniors Helping Seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
Caregiver Recruitment & Workforce Development Lead caregiver recruiting and selection across our service territory, developing a strong and consistent pipeline of qualified candidates. Drive the caregiver selection process on our "And Beyond" operating model. Build and lead a small network of community-based recruiting resources and represent Seniors Helping Seniors at hiring and community events. Onboarding & Compliance Create an organized, welcoming, and professional onboarding experience that establishes clear expectations from the beginning. Ensure caregiver personnel files, credentials, screenings, training, and other employment requirements are accurate, complete, and current. Maintain strong HR practices and appropriate documentation while protecting employee and client confidentiality. Coaching, Development & Retention Build an environment where excellent caregivers want to stay and grow. Develop structured caregiver communication, recognition, education, coaching, and performance-management practices. Identify high-performing caregivers and create opportunities for development while addressing performance concerns promptly and consistently. Operational Partnership Partner closely with Scheduling, Operations, Business Development, and Client Care to ensure caregiver capacity supports current clients and future growth. Help identify staffing risks and caregiver development needs while ensuring caregivers are appropriately matched and prepared for the clients they serve. Our caregivers are not simply filling shifts. They represent Seniors Helping Seniors inside someone's home during an important and often vulnerable season of life. This leader will ensure they understand that responsibility—and feel equally valued for the extraordinary work they perform. How Success Will Be Measured Success will be evaluated through a balanced scorecard focused on: Strength and quality of the caregiver pipeline Successful caregiver hiring and onboarding Caregiver retention and engagement Staffing readiness Reliability and performance Training and compliance Quality of the caregiver experience Performance incentives will reward quality, retention, and organizational results—not hiring volume alone. Who We're Looking For The successful candidate will bring: Meaningful experience in Human Resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, healthcare staffing, workforce development, home care, or another people-intensive service organization. Experience leading or supporting a large hourly or distributed workforce is strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is preferred. Relevant leadership experience may substitute for formal education. Strong communication skills, both written and oral Technical proficiency and agility across a variety of digital work platforms SHRM, PHR, or similar HR credentials are valued but not required.
