Job Summary IP Pathways is seeking a hands-on Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the HR function. This role is responsible for driving HR strategy while also executing day-to-day HR operations. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, oversee employee relations and compliance, and ensure a positive and engaging employee experience. This role also manages the recruiting function, including direct oversight of a Recruiter, while remaining actively involved in hiring for key and leadership roles. Key Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR-related matters
  • Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding
  • Oversee and guide the recruiting function, supporting hiring efforts for leadership and hard-to-fill roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting and workforce planning strategies
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management support
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including compensation benchmarking and open enrollment
  • Oversee HR systems, reporting, and data accuracy
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support company culture efforts
  • Identify training and development needs and support learning initiatives across the organization Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or standalone HR role
  • At least 3 years of experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration
  • Experience managing or leading a small team
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on across multiple HR functions
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred Why IP Pathways?
