Monday- Friday 8am-5pm, Flexibility to meet hospital needs some nights/weekends Job description: The Field Human Resources Manager will provide direct HR support to an ETHOS field locations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Hospital Leadershipand People Team to on engagement and culture initiatives. Support staff and managers on day-to-day HR issues including employee relations, investigations, policy interpretation and general inquiries. Conduct investigations as needed, ensure consistent application of policies and procedures. Communicateand update hospital policies and procedures to all employees and ensure hospital standards are met. Ensure all HR hospital operations adhere to legal standards. Work collaboratively with Centers of Excellence such as LOA, TA, Payroll, Total Rewards, etc. Lead performance management process. Lead onboarding and offboarding procedures in alignment with our company culture. Work collaboratively with leadership on labor managment and wage analysis. Work collaboratively with Learning and Development teams to provide education opportunities for current and developing leaders. Support staff and managers on day-to-day issues. Work collaboratively with NVA People Team on organization-wide initiaties and change management processes. Support recruiting events and efforts. Develop and deliver presentations and staff communications as needed.. Skills/Requirements 5-7 years Proven work experience as a Field HR Manager or similar role required. Ability to travel to Kansas sites on a frequent basis. Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. Good knowledge of federal, state, and local labor regulations required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects at once required. Ability to build strong relationship-building skills, finding ways to go the extra mile with clients and partners. Demonstrated proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Some existing knowledge of animal health/medical field preferred. Hands-on experience with payroll systems and Human Resources systems preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENT.
Able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time. Able to perform all duties and responsibilities as described. Able to function as a team member within veterinary hospital setting. Able to be positive, supportive, and encouraging as needed. Able to travel as needed between multiple sites weekly. Able to travel as required to attend a variety of meetings within theUS. ETHOS
