The Director of Human Resources will perform HR related functions and duties in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our Facility. This role reports directly to the Administrator. Duties Promote a culture of respect, teamwork and a positive work environment. Manage recruiting, interviewing, hiring, perform pre-employment background and reference checks, orientation, onboarding, annual appraisals and performance improvement plans Develop and maintain trust with coworkers by resolving concerns promptly maintaining confidentiality Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with directors of all departments Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner Process FMLA, Paid Family Leave and Worker's Compensation Manage employee recognition programs and lead interdepartmental events Update information in HRIS and ensure that required licenses are up to date and on file Uphold a high ethical standard of integrity, confidentiality and non-discrimination Conduct fair investigations into allegations of policy violation Update HRIS system and files and ensure compliance with MD Health regulations Analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
