Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized On Site Manager to lead staffing operations. This pivotal role involves managing end-to-end recruitment processes, building strong relationships with clients and candidates, and ensuring the delivery of top-tier talent to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and possess a passion for talent acquisition and workforce management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence staffing strategies, optimize recruitment workflows, and contribute to the success of our clients' teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site representative for Michigan Staffing. Manage and lead on-site recruiter(s) to ensure staffing goals are achieved. Oversee a high-volume Master Vendor staffing program. Ensure weekly staffing requirements are met through proactive recruiting and workforce planning. Build and maintain strong daily relationships with client leadership and supervisors. Handle all aspects of employee relations, including onboarding, attendance, coaching, engagement, floor interaction, issue resolution, and direct-hire conversions. Monitor employee performance, retention, attendance, and turnover while implementing strategies to improve retention. Conduct regular floor walks to maintain visibility with both employees and client management. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and client expectations. Maintain accurate records, reports, and staffing metrics. Communicate effectively with internal leadership, recruiters, employees, and client contacts regarding staffing needs, challenges, and solutions. Qualifications Previous experience managing high-volume staffing operations, preferably within manufacturing or automotive environments. Prior experience supervising recruiters or staffing team members. Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills. Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities. Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. High level of accountability, professionalism, and follow-through. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Flexibility to adjust to changing business needs.
