Job Description

As the Champion for everything related to employee operations, you will ensure all of our processes and policies are impactful, scalable, compliant, and aligned with our values. You will work closely with Human Resources to develop industry standards for employee practices that truly support the employee — and bring the rest of the company enthusiastically along on that vision. This individual must have a mix of HR expertise (tools, best practices, relevant laws and regulations), operational chops (stellar organization and project management skills), a strategic lens (connecting day-to-day work with bigger-picture organizational objectives), and the ability to influence both employees and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Ø Assess and communicate process improvement opportunities in relation to employees Ø Direct and plan the day to day operations of the Company's benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, and flexible spending plan) Ø Conduct employee surveys and drive culture initiatives to enhance and maximize employee experience Ø Track attendance, assist HRD with disciplinary functions and develop plans to help employees succeed. Ø Counsel managers and employees on a variety of HR-related queries and issues Ø Conduct all onboarding and off boarding procedures, such as facilitating new-hire orientations, trainings, exit interviews, and separation agreements Ø Build and strengthen the delivery and execution of HR programs, operations and services that enhance our employee experience including our Wellness program Ø Monitor the overall culture and employee engagement, work with managers to increase retention Ø Ensure adherence to all HR policies and any employment-related legal, regulatory and compliance requirements Ø Generate any reports and analytics upon request Ø Recruiting, greeting and hosting candidates during the interview process Ø Participate in planning efforts for any team building events or outing Ø Increase communication efforts between the Plant Floor and front Offices Ø Provide direction and guidance to safety trainers. Develops and monitors contents of classroom training to ensure compliance. Teaches classes as required. Schedules and conducts training and re-training. Ø Investigates incidents, accidents, and work-related injuries including accident investigation, accident reports, accident files, accident register, and follows up with the claims office and adjusters as necessary. Typically determines fault or preventability based on the facts identified at the scene. Ø Track and order employee uniforms, business cards and KSP related gear, all while tracking cost. Ø Performs bi-weekly payroll. Ensures accuracy, time off payments and statuses, garnishments and the synchronization between Employee Navigator and Paycor. Ø Input employee information into Paycor, ESTI and Employee Navigator. Ø Verify new hires through the I9 process. Keep organized files to reference. Ø Assist HRD with all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ø Ability to rapidly learn and develop a superior understanding of the organization's goals, objectives, and culture Ø Ability to lead and work with teams consisting of various experience levels and disciplines Ø Be able to work effectively with senior management to introduce new ideas, obtain support for initiatives and share ongoing progress updates.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Ø Bachelor's Degree in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration, or a combination of education and experience. Ø Minimum 8 years of relevant experience managing and/or directing operations, preferably from professional services industry Ø Demonstrated ability to run HR programs and initiatives Required to have knowledge of HR employment law and practices in addition to keeping abreast of changes
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
