Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the facility-level human resources leader, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, employee relations, and compliance. This role partners with facility leadership and corporate HR to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary payroll contact, resolving pay-related issues and coordinating adjustments with Corporate Finance. Manage time and attendance system, ensuring accurate timecard review and approval. Administer HRIS for personnel, compensation, and employee changes. Process and track garnishments, child support, and court orders. Lead facility recruitment efforts and manage applicant tracking system. Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and retention programs. Administer employee benefits, FMLA, personal leave, and workers' compensation. Prepare OSHA and EEOC reporting, and assist with credentialing as needed. Provide support with employee performance management and disputes. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. Skills & Competencies Strong HR knowledge including payroll, benefits, and compliance. Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred. 2 -3 years of HR experience, including payroll processing. Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and healthcare regulations.
Preferred:
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care environment. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods, move freely within facility, and lift up to 40 pounds. Tolerance for odors and conditions typical of a nursing facility.
