Southwest Missouri, within an hour of Springfield/Joplin marketSalary:
$49,000 - $55,000 Our client is seeking an On-Site Recruiter/Staffing Manager to lead a full-service staffing operation within a large manufacturing facility. This role owns recruiting, contingent workforce management, client service, time and attendance, employee relations, and safety response. The successful candidate will be highly visible, responsive, and proactive in building a dependable workforce for a rural operation with significant seasonal hiring needs.What youll be doing:
Recruit and maintain the contingent workforce, including seasonal hiring ramps. Develop creative sourcing strategies across communities through career centers, Chambers of Commerce, community organizations, job fairs, referrals, and returning seasonal employees. Process walk-in applicants and manage onboarding from the on-site office. Serve as the primary staffing contact for client supervisors, HR, and plant leadership while maintaining a visible presence on the production floor. Manage time and attendance, resolve missing punches, obtain client approval, and upload approved time files to payroll. Handle employee relations matters and routine HR support for the contingent workforce. Respond promptly to workplace accidents, safety concerns, and other urgent employee issues.What youll need:
Strong recruiting ability and exceptional customer service skills; both are essential. Experience in high-volume recruiting, staffing, light industrial staffing, an on-site program, or branch operations. Strong relationship-building skills with clients, employees, and internal stakeholders. The organization and follow-through to manage a large workforce and the related administrative workload.Whats in it for you:
