Position Overview The Human Resources Manager will oversee and support a broad range of HR functions within a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. This position will provide guidance to management and employees on employee relations, recruitment, performance management, leave and claims administration, training, employee development, and employment compliance. The Human Resources Manager will work closely with leaders and employees to support organizational goals, maintain effective HR practices, and ensure compliance with applicable employment requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors regarding employee relations, policies, procedures, and applicable employment requirements. Partner with leaders to identify, address, and resolve employee relations matters. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, hiring recommendations, offer preparation, and onboarding. Support employee development, career growth, and succession planning initiatives. Coach and mentor HR team members and support managers in effectively coaching and developing their employees. Oversee leave and claims administration, including disability, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes. Coordinate required employee training, maintain training records, and schedule training as needed. Prepare and analyze HR reports and recommend actions related to absenteeism, employee retention, workplace injuries, and other workforce trends. Support employee engagement and morale through communication and workplace initiatives. Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations regarding employee concerns and workplace issues. Support disciplinary and termination processes in accordance with established policies and applicable requirements. Represent the organization in employment-related meetings, hearings, and other proceedings as needed. Partner with leadership on workplace health and safety initiatives. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. Ensure HR practices and processes are consistently and fairly applied. Qualifications Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered. 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably as a Human Resources Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar role. Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or other operational environment is preferred but not required. Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements, including wage and hour, equal employment opportunity, disability accommodations, leave administration, and workplace safety. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and make recommendations regarding sensitive employee matters. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with human resources information systems and other HR technology platforms.
