Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a motivated HR Business Partner for a new opportunity with our client in the Triad. The HR Business Partner will advise on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, talent development, performance management, workforce planning, and change initiatives. The ideal candidate combines sound judgment, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a practical, hands-on approach to solving people-related challenges. Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to understand operational goals, workforce needs, and organizational challenges. Translate business priorities into effective people strategies, programs, and action plans. Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, investigations, corrective action, and policy interpretation. Support performance-management processes, including goal setting, feedback, talent reviews, and succession planning. Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, and change-management initiatives. Identify talent gaps and partner with recruiting, learning and development, and leadership teams to build talent pipelines and development plans. Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, team engagement, communication, and inclusive people practices. Analyze people data and trends—including turnover, engagement, performance, absenteeism, and workforce demographics—to recommend improvements. Ensure consistent application of company policies, employment practices, and applicable labor and employment laws. Lead or contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve the employee experience, strengthen culture, and increase organizational effectiveness. Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning and Development, HR Operations, and DEI teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, including experience supporting leaders as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar strategic HR role. Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and providing manager coaching. Strong knowledge of core HR practices, including performance management, organizational development, talent management, compensation fundamentals, and employment law. Ability to build credibility and productive relationships with employees and leaders at all levels. Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret people data and turn findings into practical recommendations. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Professional HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR. Experience supporting a [technology/manufacturing/healthcare/retail/professional services] organization. Experience with HRIS platforms and people analytics tools, such as Workday, UKG, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems. Experience supporting distributed, hybrid, or multi-site workforces. #IR1
