The Human Resources Manager serves as a key strategic partner and operational leader responsible for cultivating a strong and healthy organizational culture that reflects Sun Noodle's core values. This role oversees the full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and legal compliance. The HR Manager will play a critical role in coaching leaders, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring HR practices are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with business goals. As a trusted advisor and culture champion, the HR Manager is expected to lead by example, inspire continuous improvement, and foster an environment of respect, accountability, and collaboration across all levels of the organization. Scope of Position The HR Manager's primary responsibilities focus on the requirements below. These are used as general guidelines for the position. Additional requests will be made to support the Director of Talent & Culture and the overall business as necessary. Talent Acquisition & Staffing/ Recruitment Manage the full employment cycle recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and exit procedures. Evaluate internal and external candidates for cultural and skills fit. Promote internal talent mobility and succession planning. Employee Engagement & Culture Foster a culture that aligns with Sun Noodle values and supports a positive employee experience from hire to retire. Proactively drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies. Identify and lead culture-focused projects and key HR initiatives. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance Understand and communicate compensation and benefits programs to staff. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and provide updates to the HR team as needed. Performance Management & Training Coach and guide managers through performance issues, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions. Empower leaders to effectively manage their teams through training and resource development. Provide support in employee relations, including conflict resolution and policy interpretation. HR Operations & Systems Own and manage employee personnel files, ensuring proper documentation, accessibility, and compliance (digital via HR SharePoint). Develop repeatable, sustainable, and scalable HR processes. Utilize and train others on HR platforms (e.g., HRIS, L&D systems). Support payroll operations. Communication & Collaboration Maintain open, clear, and timely communication with leadership and teams. Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure consistent messaging and team unity. Provide regular updates to leadership including bi-weekly recaps, project statuses, and legal/litigation matters. Other duties as assigned.
