High impact role working with senior leadership. Be the sole HR Manager onsite in Suffolk County for a nationwide company. About Our Client Join a well-established and growing manufacturing organization with multiple locations across North America and a strong market presence. The company combines the stability of a large enterprise with the close-knit feel of a local operation. As the site's HR leader, you will support approximately 100+ employees and serve as the primary resource for all human resources functions. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, benefits, training, performance management, compliance, workers' compensation, safety initiatives, and partnering with leaders on staffing and workforce planning. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence business results and work closely with site leadership while collaborating with a broader regional HR team. The ideal candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish) HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, building strong partnerships with managers and employees, and managing a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates may come from manufacturing, retail, hospitality, food service, construction, distribution, or other operationally focused industries. This role is full-time on-site in Suffolk County, Long Island. Job Description Serve as the go-to HR partner for a 100+ employee operation, providing hands-on support across all areas of HR. Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding new employees. Provide guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws. Oversee performance management processes and employee development programs. Administer compensation and benefits programs effectively. Promote a positive workplace and employee engagement initiatives. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated clearly. Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development. The Successful Applicant A successful Bilingual HR Manager should have: Fluency in both English and Spanish. Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding. Knowledge of performance management and employee engagement strategies. Knowledge of payroll administration and HRIS systems. A hands-on, self-directed approach with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day HR responsibilities. Ability to go on-site five days a week in Suffolk County, Long Island.
