Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support a machinery manufacturing operation in Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for an HR specialist who can balance day-to-day employee support with practical guidance for leaders in a fast-paced onsite environment. The person in this role will help strengthen employee relations, reinforce HR policies, and contribute to a positive and productive workplace.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee concerns, provide HR guidance, and support consistent people practices across the site.
  • Lead workplace investigations related to employee relations matters and document findings with care, accuracy, and discretion.
  • Administer and interpret company policies, ensuring employees and leaders understand expectations and apply them fairly.
  • Support performance management activities by coaching leaders on feedback, documentation, and corrective action processes.
  • Coordinate and deliver new employee orientation sessions to help employees integrate smoothly into the organization.
  • Manage core HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and supporting compliance-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to identify workforce needs and recommend practical HR solutions suited to a manufacturing setting.
  • Provide onsite HR support for day-to-day operations while helping maintain a respectful, safe, and engaged work environment.
