Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role will be within a parent management company, supporting smaller subsidiaries in the healthcare field, inclusive of physicians and advanced practice providers. Within this role, you will lead and direct the routine Human Resources functions including employee onboarding and offboarding, benefit administration, semi-monthly payroll processing, annual reporting, general HR operations, and reviewing and ensuring compliance with company policies and practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate with employees regarding new-hire paperwork and pre-hire requirements
- Prepare new hire onboarding materials and coordinate orientation date
- Track and report on onboarding status and new hire progress to practice administrators
- Manage entry of new hire information into talent management systems
- Ensure accurate and full completion of all new hire documentation and onboarding compliance requirements
- Communicate with employees regarding offboarding paperwork and last day requirements, including COBRA
- Other HR responsibilities related to employee onboarding and offboarding, as deemed necessary
- Act as liaison for employees for any benefit-related questions
- Connect with insurance broker to elevate benefit-related questions, as needed
- Troubleshoot any benefit vendor issues in collaboration with insurance broker
- Manage the Open Enrollment process, including reminders to employees for completion or troubleshooting questions.
- Assist with qualified life event or beneficiary changes, as requested, outside of Open Enrollment
- Review Employee Navigator system to determine benefits that will term mid-year for enrollees or dependents due to age or transition to Medicare
- Complete and submit vendor-related annual reports in collaboration with practice administrators and insurance brokers
- Other HR responsibilities related to benefit administration, as deemed necessary
- Daily monitoring of personal and company-specific HR email
- Ensure completion of semi-monthly payroll, including adjustments, as needed
- Maintain and update employee records ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
- Complete verification of employment requests, as needed
- Address employee grievances, manage disputes and serve as a resource to organizational leaders in employee relations, as needed
- Ensure completion of all required education and training modules in collaboration with practice administrators and credentialing director
- Complete and submit annual organizational reports in collaboration with practice administrators
- Ensure alignment and adherence of corporate policies and procedures to federal/state labor laws
- Annual (or another cadence deemed necessary) review, revision, and creation of company policies and procedures
- Other general HR responsibilities, as deemed necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of EEO, ADA, FMLA, and related employment laws and guidelines, and human resource management concepts
- Strong attention to detail

- Basic understanding of
HIPAA Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in human resources management or business administration
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- PHR/SPHR or
SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP

- Advanced Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
- Experience working with healthcare professionals is highly desired
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
