Job Description
Summary Develop and design Human Resources and company's engagement efforts supporting company's vision and strategy to maximize employee productivity and engagement. Provides strategic planning, decision making and direction of the quality, cost effective delivery systems for providing wellness programs to employees. Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate execution of data driven recommendations and monitor outcomes of programs.
Description Location:
This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. This role is onsite at 51 Clemson Rd. Columbia, SC.Position Purpose:
The Manager, Employee Engagement leads the design and execution of engagement and wellness initiatives aligned with the company's strategy to enhance employee productivity. This role partners with stakeholders to deliver data-driven programs, ensuring effective implementation and measurable outcomes.What You'll Do:
Lead development, implementation and assessment of engagement efforts and programs to continuously improve employee engagement. Research best practices, gather and analyze data to understand employee engagement and develop actionable strategies and programs. Routinely assess employee wellness benefits and health promotion strategies, including department budget. Recommends strategic changes to wellness program design for enhancing effectiveness and reducing risk. Oversee programs such as biometric screenings, flu clinics, activity programs and on-site fitness centers. Supervise and coordinate activity of staff. Responsible for training and various personnel functions, hiring, conducting performance evaluations, coaching, etc. Oversee programs such as Employee Association and recognition programs. Facilitate the delivery of programs through diverse modes of communication. Create timelines and project plans supporting the execution of programs. Prepare and deliver presentations. Work with stakeholders to drive engagement of employees. Serve as a liaison between division and business to build strong relationships to facilitate outcomes, communication, and support for initiatives. Act as a resource to management to improve engagement.To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Equivalency:
4 years of job related experience.Required Work Experience:
5 years of human resources experience as business partner, organizational development, professional human resource discipline including 3 years in a supervisory role OR 3 years of equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication, analytical, project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions. Strong problem-solving, presentation, and judgment skills. Ability to analyze trends and make recommendations to management. Ability to persuade, negotiate, and influence others. Demonstrated consultative abilities in working with a broad/diverse employee population, leadership, and organizational development activities.Required Software and Tools:
Microsoft Office.Required Licenses and Certificates:
Nationally accredited certification or license related to evaluating and prescribing activity regimens to people with medical conditions and/or physical limitations. Current Adult CPR/AED certification or ability to acquire within 30 days.Our Comprehensive Benefits Package Includes The Following:
