Job Description Our client is a diversified manufacturer supplying metal parts and assemblies to customers across the automotive, agriculture, and heavy-truck industries. As the company continues to grow, they're seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner directly with the President in strengthening culture, rebuilding employee trust, coaching leaders, and driving organizational excellence. This is an opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who is comfortable on the manufacturing floor, can connect with employees across all shifts, and can also serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership. What You'll Do
Serve as the strategic HR partner to the President and executive leadership
Lead employee and labor relations, including CBA administration and grievances
Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance, and consistent policy application
Build trust and maintain a visible HR presence across the manufacturing floor and all shifts
Improve employee engagement and retention
Strengthen HR systems, policies, and processes
Lead organizational development and succession planning initiatives
Develop leadership capability throughout the organization
Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws
Drive HR metrics and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Progressive HR leadership experience within manufacturing
Heavy industrial manufacturing experience
Automotive manufacturing experience
Strong hands-on employee relations experience
Experience supporting an hourly, multi-shift manufacturing workforce
Union manufacturing / CBA experience
Leadership coaching experience
Strategic mindset with a hands-on, visible approach
Ability to build trust while maintaining fairness, consistency, and accountability
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Bachelor's degree
SHRM-SCP or SPHR is a plus
