Job Description

Essential Functions:
Coordinate and facilitate New Hire Orientation, ensuring a consistent onboarding experience across all locations Partner with managers, IT, Payroll, Safety, and Operations to complete onboarding checklists and integrate new hires Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day new-hire follow-ups and translate feedback into experience improvements Support pre-employment logistics including scheduling background checks and drug screens and gathering candidate paperwork while Governance, Risk & Compliance ensures Form I-9/E-Verify, employment-eligibility verification, and clearance to start (GRC holds final authority on clearance before the start date). Support employee engagement, appreciation, and culture activities across headquarters and field locations Assist with engagement, new hire, and exit survey administration and summarize results into actionable insights Support manager and employee communication and field presence in coordination with the Talent & Engagement experience Partner with managers to identify retention risks and support retention initiatives Coordinate exit interviews and help identify turnover trends Promote internal career-advancement opportunities and support succession-planning activities Enter and maintain talent, onboarding, engagement, and candidate (ATS) records accurately and confidentially, following the data standards set by Governance, Risk & Compliance, which maintains HRIS data integrity and the system of record. Maintain onboarding, engagement, and hiring documentation During onboarding, collect signed offer letters, job descriptions, and required acknowledgments and route them to Governance, Risk & Compliance for the system of record. Track and report talent and engagement key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-based improvements Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Provide timely and professional customer service to employees and managers Support the hiring process in partnership with the Director - HR, Talent & Engagement, including scheduling and coordinating interviews and candidate communications Assist with requisition tracking and candidate flow within the applicant tracking system (ATS) Provide a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Effective performance in this role requires the following: Knowledge Policies, practices, and procedures of MidCentral Energy Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines Employee experience and employee-lifecycle principles Onboarding and new-hire integration practices Employee engagement and retention drivers Survey administration and basic interpretation HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS) General employment-law awareness related to onboarding and employee records (final authority on regulatory exposure rests with Governance, Risk & Compliance) Microsoft Office Suite Skills Building trust and relationships with employees, managers, and field leaders Communicating clearly across headquarters and distributed field locations Organization, coordination, and project management Partnering across HR tracks to manage handoffs without dropping ownership Customer service and time management Records management, data entry, and reporting Coordinating interviews and candidate scheduling Problem solving Abilities Practice and foster safe work methods, identify workplace hazards, and use appropriate safety equipment Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, professional colleagues, clients, customers, and the public Handle multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously Balance employee-experience priorities with the regulatory guardrails established by Governance, Risk & Compliance Work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and during emergency situations such as inclement weather Physical Demands Primarily office-based work with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use Occasional travel to field offices across operating locations Push, lift, and carry up to 15 lbs Bend, stoop, kneel, and move intermittently throughout the day May be exposed to field-environment conditions during site visits, including weather, dust, and vehicle or equipment activity
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field
Minimum Experience:
