About the TeamThe Administrative Teams at Alaska Behavioral Health work behind the scenes to ensure smooth daily operations for both our staff and our clients. The HR Generalist works under the direction of the HR Director as part of the HR Department. As a HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. We value teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning. What Youll DoLeading recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, offer letters, scheduling onboarding tasks and new hire orientation.

Facilitating pre-employment requirements (Background checks, I-9s, E-Verify and more)
HRIS/ATS
experience preferred (Relias and ADP)Managing the employee benefit program and assisting employees with inquiries.

Ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

Coordinating training guidelines for employees through an electronic system.

Maintaining employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Handling employee relations matters and addressing employee queries or concerns.

Good To KnowPosition is based in Anchorage, AlaskaFull-Time, Exempt Salary pay range starts at $60,000 to $76,550 based on experienceEligible for up to $18,900 in incentive with the average being $6,945.Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available Professional Growth is encouraged!

PTO is used for company recognized holidays. 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 4% automatically contributed by AKBH.What We Need from YouBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.2-5 years experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.

Sound knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
