HR Generalist -
R&S, Onboarding, Other Support HR Functions Summary:
The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations with a primary focus on recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and general HR administration. This role helps attract and hire qualified candidates, coordinates new hire onboarding activities, maintains employee records, and provides ongoing support across key HR processes to ensure a positive employee experience and operational efficiency. The position serves as a key point of contact for candidates, new hires, employees, and managers by supporting recruitment coordination, orientation, benefits and policy communication, compliance documentation, and HR reporting. The HR Generalist also works closely with corporate leadership to improve hiring processes, streamline onboarding, and provide responsive support for employee relations and other HR initiatives. Core Duties and Strategic Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Coordinate recruiting activities including posting jobs, reviewing applicants, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, support candidate selection, and help ensure timely hiring decisions. Maintain candidate records, recruiting trackers, and related documentation to support an organized and compliant recruitment process. Assist with employment offers, pre-employment requirements, and other hiring-related administrative steps.

Onboarding & New Hire Experience Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including offer follow-up, collection of required documents, orientation scheduling, and new hire communication. Ensure completion of onboarding paperwork, system entries, and employee file documentation in accordance with company requirements. Partner with managers to support a smooth transition for new employees into their roles, departments, and work environment. Track onboarding progress and help ensure required training, acknowledgements, and introductory activities are completed on time.

Employee Support & HR Administration Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits information, and general employment questions. Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR data while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Assist with employment verifications, status changes, employee communications, and other routine HR administrative processes. Support audits, reporting, and document tracking related to HR records and compliance requirements.

HR Coordination & Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with leadership and other departments to support staffing needs, employee communications, and HR-related initiatives. Assist with employee relations matters by gathering documentation, coordinating meetings, and supporting follow-up actions as directed. Help coordinate training, policy acknowledgements, and HR programs that support employee engagement and operational needs. Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, recruiting efficiency, and onboarding effectiveness.

Key Competencies, Skills and Attributes Strong knowledge of recruiting coordination, onboarding processes, and HR administrative practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, employees, and managers. High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through in handling records, documentation, and multiple priorities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to routine employee and manager questions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and recordkeeping tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple HR functions and deadlines. Education and Work Experience Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 2-4 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, onboarding, or HR administration. Experience supporting candidate coordination, new hire onboarding, employee records management, and general HR processes preferred. Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications preferred. Experience in a fast-paced operations, logistics, manufacturing, or similar environment is a plus.
