Job Description

  • THIS
IS A SEASONAL ROLE
  • The Human Resources Representative supports the overall day to ay Human Resources functions, such as recruiting, new hire orientations, training, performance management, safety, benefits and payroll.
Individual will take an active role in all HR related matters, and relay employee relations issues and matters to the HR Manager/Director.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Primary for resolving conflict among employees, performance or conduct
  • Responsible for handling workplace disputes, disciplinary procedures, as well as Performance Improvement Plans
  • Performs for all Human Resources activities (employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations).
  • Performs recruiting process including: placement of advertisements, screening and interviewing applicants, coordinating hiring process and pre-employment testing for hourly positions.
  • Prepares necessary documentation for employee onboarding, termination, resignation, etc.
  • Conducts new-hire training programs (Orientation, etc.).
  • Maintains confidentiality within HR Department at all times.
  • Adheres to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of the job.
  • Responsible for understanding of benefit plan interpretation, communication, and enrollment including the standard benefits package and retirement plans.
  • Participates in Safety committee meetings, Incident investigation and helps with corrective actions.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ability to work early/late and weekends when needed.

Experience Required:
  • Two (2) to five (5) years Human Resources experience, preferably in the capacity of Human Resources Administrative Support.
  • Experience and/or exposure to employment law and regulatory compliance a plus.
  • Recruiting experience preferred.
Education/ Licenses/Certification/Formal Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree (in Human Resources or Business preferred)
Essential Abilities:
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English a MUST. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to read, write and comprehend English and Spanish.
  • Utmost professional demeanor, etiquette and confidentiality.
  • Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
Job Types:
Temporary, Full-time Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
