The HR Generalist will be responsible for performing day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance. The HR Generalist will work closely with employees, supervisors, and management on the production floor to address employee concerns, support workforce needs and promote a positive and productive work environment. This position will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies while providing HR support across the organization.
Responsibilities Administer employee lifecycle processes:
recruitment, onboarding, orientation, offboarding. Handle employee relations issues with confidentiality and professionalism. Maintain and update employee records. Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and inquiries. Assist in developing and enforcing company policies and procedures. Conduct training sessions on HR policies, employee development, and compliance. Support performance review processes and disciplinary procedures. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local labor laws and internal policies. Coordinate employee engagement and wellness programs. Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly HR reports, metrics, and documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize ADP for payroll processing. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role. Previous HR experience in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of federal, state and local labor laws and HR best practices. High level of discretion and ethical standards. Proficiency with ADP and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
