Full Job Description Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist, reporting into the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for handling benefits administration, human resources information system management, training, and development, leave administration, compensation, performance management, and assisting with talent acquisition functions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages benefits inquiries to ensure timely and professional resolution. Maintains contact with employees and insurance companies to facilitate proper utilization of benefits. Manages Open Enrollment meetings. Manages timely and accurate health benefit invoice reconciliation. Tracks and reports key benefits metrics across all CSI sites. Manages the health and wellness program across all CSI sites. Partners with Compliance Manager on health benefit compliance notices such as Form 5500, Pay Data Reporting and ACA Reporting. Produces monthly and quarterly audits of health benefits data in HRIS and carrier sites. Develops requested benefit reports. Completes HR Scorecard monthly. Partners with health insurance broker to resolve issues related to health insurance carriers. Works with Health Advocate service to resolve employee benefit concerns. Completes and responds to Medical Support Notices Collaborates effectively with health insurance brokers and insurance carriers. Participates in the performance management/compensation processes. Develops and implements HR development programs for supervisors. Processes and administers Federal and State laws related to leaves of absence (PDLA, CFRA, FMLA, ADA, WC etc.) Collaborates with Health and Safety team to manage the interactive process and leaves of absence. As necessary, handles exempt-level professional and non-exempt recruiting to support the business needs. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Education/Experience:
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish languages to communicate with internal customers (Preferred) Computer Skills; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment Strong organization skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Offer elevated level of customer service. Must secure sensitive and confidential information. Proficiency in CA and Federal employment-related laws. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. 4+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience preferred. HR Certification is preferred.Work Environment:
