Company Overview Creative Solutions for Hope is dedicated to empowering children and families by providing tailored behavioral interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Since 2006, our team of highly-skilled professionals has worked tirelessly to enhance the quality of life for children with developmental disabilities, learning challenges, and behavioral issues through compassionate, individualized support. Position Summary Creative Solutions for Hope (CSH) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support for a growing multi-state workforce. This position serves as a key resource for managers and employees by independently managing complex day-to-day human resources matters, providing guidance on employment practices, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. The Human Resources Generalist will support various HR functions including employee relations, leave administration, benefits, compliance, performance management, investigations, onboarding, policy interpretation, and HR records administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong professional judgment, experience supporting employees across multiple states, and proficiency with HR technology platforms including Paychex Flex and Employee Navigator. The position is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy while serving as an experienced layer of support within the Human Resources department. This scope closely aligns with senior-level HR Generalist responsibilities involving employee relations, compliance, investigations, and multi-state support. Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of direct Human Resources Generalist experience . Experience supporting a multi-state workforce and applying employment laws across multiple jurisdictions. Experience utilizing Paychex Flex for payroll-related HR administration and employee data management. Experience utilizing Employee Navigator for benefits administration and employee enrollment activities. Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills. Experience handling sensitive and confidential employee information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.

Essential Job Functions Employee Relations and Manager Support Serve as a primary Human Resources contact for employees and managers. Independently manage complex employee relations matters while providing practical and compliant recommendations. Conduct employee interviews, fact-finding meetings, and workplace investigations. Provide guidance regarding disciplinary actions, performance management, corrective action processes, and employee concerns. Coach supervisors and managers on HR best practices and employment-related issues. Assist with conflict resolution and facilitate productive workplace communication. Compliance and Employment Law Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Monitor and interpret changes in employment laws affecting the workforce. Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies, procedures, and employee communications. Support HR audits, document reviews, and compliance initiatives. Leave Administration and Accommodations Assist with administration of
FMLA, CFRA, ADA
accommodations, pregnancy disability leave, workers' compensation, and other protected leaves. Coordinate with employees, managers, and third-party administrators regarding leave-related matters. Support the interactive process for accommodation requests. Benefits Administration Administer employee benefit programs through Employee Navigator . Support employee enrollments, qualifying events, open enrollment activities, and benefits-related inquiries. Coordinate with benefit vendors and brokers as necessary. Ensure accurate benefits documentation and recordkeeping. HRIS, Payroll, and Employee Records Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within Paychex Flex and other HR systems. Coordinate employee status changes, compensation updates, promotions, transfers, and separations. Partner with payroll to ensure accuracy of employee information affecting payroll processing. Assist with HR reporting and data analysis. Onboarding and Offboarding Support onboarding activities, employment documentation, and new hire orientation. Ensure timely completion of required new hire paperwork and compliance requirements. Coordinate employee separations and offboarding processes. Conduct exit interviews and assist with separation documentation. Performance Management Support Assist managers with performance evaluations and employee development initiatives. Support implementation of corrective action and performance improvement processes. Maintain performance-related documentation and records. Projects and Continuous Improvement Participate in HR projects and organizational initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiencies, and employee experience. Support organizational growth and strategic HR objectives. Professional Standards Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and strong ethical judgment. Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Communicates effectively and professionally with employees at all organizational levels. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use office equipment for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically. Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an outside and office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of electronic devices; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Visual acuity is necessary for reading and interpreting data, observing client behavior, and ensuring a safe environment. The role requires continuous verbal interaction and auditory communication with clients, which is essential for delivering the therapy effectively. Safety awareness and adherence to established protocols are critical to maintain a secure and hazard-free workspace.
Pre-Employment Requirement:
As an ABA therapy organization providing services to children and families, all employees are required to successfully complete a Live Scan fingerprint-based background check as a condition of employment. Employment offers are contingent upon meeting all applicable clearance requirements. Creative Solution for Hope participates in E-Verify. $71,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
