Job Description

Workplace Solutions is a leading Human Capital Management Company! We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll / Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and human resources practices. They will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information
  • Prepare payroll reports, including tax deductions and benefits contributions
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to payroll and human resources
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other related matters
  • Coordinate new employees, process terminations, and update employee information
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs
  • Collaborate with finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and prepare financial reports Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing and human resources support
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll and employee rights
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
