Job Description

Job Summary We are hiring an HR Generalist who can independently own HR across multiple states — spanning compliance, recruiting, employee relations, and staffing-agency management — while helping build a unified, multi-site HR system. Duties Ensure compliance with employment laws across
CA / TX / NJ / GA
(wage & hour, overtime, paid sick leave, leaves, workers' compensation, hiring and termination procedures) Own full-cycle recruiting and onboarding/offboarding for warehouse employees Conduct initial phone screenings, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Independently handle employee relations: workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations Manage staffing-agency partners: contracts and bill rates, timesheet verification, invoice auditing, and headcount tracking by site Support payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and attendance administration Build and maintain a company-wide employee roster; publish regular reports on hires, terminations, and turnover Help develop unified HR policies and drive adoption across all warehouse sites Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above; 3+ years as an HR Generalist, including 2+ years of multi-state HR experience Strong working knowledge of California employment law required; familiarity with TX, NJ, and GA a plus Warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing workforce experience preferred Demonstrated ability to independently handle investigations, terminations, and workers' compensation cases Bilingual English/Mandarin strongly preferred Proficient with HRIS and Excel; comfortable collaborating across time zones Able to travel approximately 25-30%; valid U.S. driver's license required Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools is advantageous.
