Job Description

JSG is hiring a HR Generalist for 3+ months contract opportunity in San Marcos, CA.
Skills:
3-5+ years of combined HR and payroll experience, with strong proficiency in payroll systems (ADP preferred). equivalent education required Knowledge of HR processes and best practices for the state of California Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred Experience with HR databases Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities with accountability and attention to detail. PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification is a plus. Accountable for the entire employee lifecycle from full-cycle recruiting and onboarding to offboarding. You are accountable for ensuring strict legal compliance, maintaining accurate records in ADP, and processing accurate payroll and benefits administration. Collaborate by serving as a strategic partner to plant leadership, aligning site culture with corporate values while ensuring HR initiatives support manufacturing productivity. You will maintain a proactive communication loop with managers and the broader HR team to navigate operational obstacles, manage staffing needs, and execute complex compliance tasks like audits and leaves of absence. Ultimately, you act as the bridge between corporate standards and local site needs, fostering engagement through direct interaction with the workforce.
