This is a standalone role with full ownership of day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and coordination with our PEO (TriNet). This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your comprehensive HR knowledge and project management skills to make a meaningful impact across the organization. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to ensure a seamless recruitment experience. Support workplace safety programs and compliance initiatives (Cal/OSHA, PPE requirements), including coordinating new hire safety orientation and ongoing compliance training Monitor and ensure compliance with California wage and hour law, including final pay and recordkeeping requirements Manage the company's HR platform (TriNet) relationship and benefits administration Manage relationships with staffing agencies, including rate negotiation and contract compliance Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, including conflict management and confidential information handling, fostering a positive work environment. Review and update HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with California employment laws and improve efficiency. Proactively identify and propose initiatives to improve HR processes, employee experience, and department efficiency Requirements 3+ years of hands-on HR Generalist experience is required. This is not an entry-level position Solid working knowledge of California employment law (wage and hour, meal/rest breaks, overtime, leave laws) Experience working with a PEO platform is a plus Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Familiarity with employment law in talent management, workers' compensation procedures, OSHA regulations, and regulatory compliance management. Experience handling employee relations issues with tact and confidentiality while managing conflict resolution processes.
Pay:
