Valencia, CA (In-Office)

$33.00/hour

Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced HR & Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team in Valencia, CA. This is a hands-on role ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing both human resources operations and financial processes . The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience, payroll knowledge, and a solid understanding of California employment practices. This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, and able to take ownership of daily responsibilities while supporting overall business operations. Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Finance Maintain accurate financial records and perform account reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections. Prepare financial reports, budgeting information, and operational summaries. Maintain accurate records using accounting software such as QuickBooks and/or Great Plains. Assist with financial reporting and identify areas for process improvement. Human Resources & Payroll Process payroll accurately and ensure timely completion. Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Maintain employee records, documentation, and HR files. Ensure compliance with California employment laws and HR best practices. Assist with employee relations, company policies, and HR procedures. Support benefits administration and employee reporting. Partner with management on employee development, performance reviews, and workplace initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years of combined experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and HR functions. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Great Plains. Experience processing payroll and maintaining financial records. Knowledge of California employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
