HR Generalist Location:
Vallejo, CA Salary:
TBD Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist serves as the primary on-site HR representative, reporting directly to the Casino Manager. This role manages day-to-day HR operations and provides support across recruitment, onboarding, Team Member Relations, training and development, HRIS, payroll and timekeeping, and compliance while serving as a key resource for leaders and team members. Responsibilities
    Recruiting and Onboarding:
    o Review applications, screen and interview candidates, and coordinate the onboarding process, including offer letters, gaming license appointments, orientation, new hire documentation, ID badges, timekeeping setup, and wardrobe distribution.
      Training and Development:
      o Conduct training programs for technical and professional skill development, compliance requirements, and brand initiatives, including Brand Induction, Amplified Service, Leadership Development, and other property programs.
        Team Member Relations:
        o Partner with management to resolve team member issues and support organizational effectiveness.
          Payroll and Timekeeping:
          o Manage and support timekeeping and payroll processes, including auditing time records, resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting with payroll preparation and processing.
          HR Business Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration:
          • Collaborate with key HR business partners and corporate stakeholders to support the consistent execution of HR programs, policies, and initiatives at the property level.
          • Serve as the liaison between property leadership and corporate HR functions, providing feedback, escalating issues as appropriate, and supporting business and workforce objectives.
          Minimum Qualifications:
          • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent professional experience required.
          • Three (3) years of Human Resources experience as an HR Generalist in a casino and hotel environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
          • Proficiency with MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, and Word) is required.
          • Knowledge of local and regional employment requirements
          • PHR or SPHR certification, preferred
