Job Description
HR Generalist (Part-Time or Full-Time) Join Our Team! We're looking for an organized, proactive, and people-focused HR Generalist to join our growing team. This position is available as either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate. Progressive Specialty Glass Company, a leading supplier of customized take-home souvenir glassware, is searching for a highly motivated HR Generalist for their company headquarters in Southington, CT. The ideal candidate will enjoy a variety of responsibilities and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. If hired in a full-time capacity, this position will also include general administrative and office support duties as needed. Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding. Administer employee benefits and assist with enrollments, changes, and employee questions. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Assist with payroll processing and HR reporting. Coordinate new hire orientation and employee training. Support employee relations by responding to employee questions and assisting with workplace concerns. Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and company documentation. Assist with workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration. Help coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and company initiatives.
