MIA Hospitality Management is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Compliance Generalist to support the administrative and compliance functions of our Human Resources department. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting leave administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations, managing HR documentation, and maintaining data integrity within our HR systems. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of HR Compliance experience, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion. What You'll Do Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Support compliance-related processes, including leave administration, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and employee accommodations. Monitor and track employee leave requests, required documentation, and compliance deadlines. Maintain data accuracy and integrity within HRIS platforms and other HR systems. Assist with onboarding, employee status changes, separations, and related HR documentation. Serve as a resource for employees regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and HR processes. Conduct regular audits of employee files and HR records to ensure compliance. Prepare reports, metrics, and documentation to support HR operations and leadership initiatives. Support compliance initiatives and assist with internal audits and administrative projects. What We're Looking For 2-3 years of Human Resources experience in HR Operations, or Generalist role. Knowledge of HR compliance, employment practices, leave administration, and personnel file maintenance. Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining employee records. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Professional judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
