This individual will serve as EmpHire's onsite point of contact for our temporary workforce, helping ensure employees are checked in, accounted for, and ready to work. The On-Site Lead will work closely with both EmpHire staff and auction management , serving as an intermediary to help communicate staffing needs, attendance issues, and day-to-day updates. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is comfortable working with people, using technology, taking direction, and working both indoors and outdoors. Key Responsibilities Assist with employee check-in and check-out Monitor employee time and attendance , including late arrivals, absences, and no-shows Verify that scheduled employees are present and report staffing discrepancies to EmpHire Maintain accurate attendance and staffing records Communicate staffing changes, attendance concerns, and important updates to the EmpHire team Serve as a professional liaison between EmpHire employees and auction personnel Help direct employees to their appropriate work areas or assignments Communicate instructions and operational updates to employees as needed Assist with basic onsite questions or concerns and escalate issues appropriately Use a computer, tablet, mobile phone, or staffing system to track and communicate information Maintain professional communication with employees, supervisors, and client representatives Follow direction from EmpHire management and onsite auction leadership Help ensure EmpHire employees follow workplace expectations and procedures Provide general onsite support to keep the staffing operation running smoothly Qualifications Previous experience in staffing, team lead, customer service, administrative support, operations, or another people-facing role preferred Strong attendance and reliability are essential Must have reliable transportation Comfortable using computers, smartphones, email, and basic workplace technology Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to accurately track attendance and employee information Professional and comfortable interacting with employees and management Ability to take direction and adapt as staffing needs change Able to remain calm and organized in a busy work environment Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions , including heat and sun Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is reliable, approachable, organized, and proactive .
