Job Description
Description The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers and helps ensure HR policies and processes are followed consistently across the organization. Key Responsibilities + Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes + Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems + Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee questions + Assist with employee relations issues and performance management processes + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws + Support recruiting activities, including interview coordination and offer documentation + Assist with timekeeping, payroll coordination, and HR audits + Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs + Partner with managers on HR-related matters and day-to-day people operations + Support HR projects and initiatives as needed Requirements Qualifications + 2-5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred + Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices + Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills + High level of discretion when handling sensitive information + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Preferred Skills + Experience with benefits administration and employee relations + Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) + SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Work Environment This role is primarily office-based with frequent interaction across all levels of the organization.
