Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in: Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education or Training, Communications, Psychology or a Related field Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-directed and able to work without supervision Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas The Human Resources Training Intern will support the Human Resources team in the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of employee training and development programs. This internship provides hands-on experience in learning and development, employee onboarding, training administration, and manufacturing operations. The intern will work closely with the Human Resources Manager, Training Specialist, department trainers, and operational leaders to help ensure employees receive the training and resources needed to perform their roles safely and effectively. The position offers valuable exposure to Human Resources, organizational development, learning management systems, and employee engagement initiatives. Training Administration (35%) Assist with maintaining employee training records and qualifications. Support data entry and reporting within the Learning Management System (LMS). Help upload, organize, and update training materials and learning resources. Assist in tracking employee completion of required training programs. Training Coordination (25%) Support scheduling and logistics for site-wide and departmental training sessions. Prepare training materials, sign-in sheets, presentations, and training documentation. Coordinate room reservations, equipment setup, and communication with attendees. Assist with leadership development and employee training events. Onboarding Support (20%) Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding activities. Help prepare onboarding materials and welcome packets. Support coordination of training schedules for new hires and employees transferring between departments. Partner with HR and department trainers to ensure onboarding requirements are completed. Training Development Projects (10%) Assist in creating and updating training documentation, job aids, presentations, and standard work instructions. Help organize training content and learning resources. Participate in projects aimed at improving training effectiveness and employee development. Continuous Improvement & HR Support (10%) Support HR projects related to employee engagement, communications, and development. Gather feedback from employees and trainers regarding training programs. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and change management activities.
