Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a dynamic and growing organization that is looking to add an HR Generalist to their team. Position OverviewThe HR Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle for a corporate employee population of 100+ employees while serving as the primary resource for payroll processing for approximately 500 employees (100 salaried and 400 hourly). This is a hands-on role requiring a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys working across multiple functional areas of Human Resources.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing payroll including journal entries, benefits administration, HRIS systems, compliance initiatives, and employee programs while helping foster a positive employee experience.
Ensure accurate payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, and wage payments.
Audit payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Partner with Finance on payroll reporting and reconciliation activities.
Human ResourcesSupport all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee development, performance management, and offboarding.
Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for employee benefit-related questions.
Maintain employee data within the HRIS and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Generate HR and payroll reports to support business decisions and compliance requirements.
Assist with policy administration, employee handbook updates, and HR communications.
Support performance management processes, including reviews and goal-setting initiatives.
Promote employee engagement programs and assist with culture-building initiatives.
Provide guidance and support on routine employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and other compliance-related activities.
