Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated ad result-oriented Human Resources and Bookkeeping professional to join our team. This role combines essential HR functions with comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, payroll processing, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both the financial health and employee well-being of our organization. Responsibilities Manage payroll processing using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Support HR functions such as maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding/offboarding procedures, HR administration, and managing benefits administration Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job opening, scheduling interviews, and coordination with hiring process. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections Prepare financial reports by analyzing account data, writing summaries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards Utilize spreadsheets extensively for data analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting purposes Qualifications Proven experience in accounting systems such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage or similar financial software Strong knowledge of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation Familiarity with public accounting practices as well as non-profit or corporate accounting environments is preferred Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis accurately Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration is highly desirable Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for financial report writing and data analysis Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of GAAP standards and technical accounting principles Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately for data entry tasksJoin us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to fostering a positive workplace while maintaining impeccable financial practices. Pay:
