Summary The HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist will support company operations by recruiting, hiring, training all personnel. Daily duties include preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating; explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees; ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed. Responsible for the processes and systems related to the service of our employees throughout the company. Guide candidates and management through recruiting period. Facilitate "awesome onboarding." Process payroll for company employees twice a month via QuickBooks Online payroll and related tax reports. Maintaining company calendar including paid time off. Assist management team in tracking and documenting employee evaluations, including initial training programs for new staff. Liaison with safety training program. Manage UKG Human Resources Management System - from Onboarding Documents to Exit Interview Manage Mineral - internal HR Dashboard, and training. Prepare required OSHA reports and oversee all OSHA logs. Ensure Human Resource Information System is current, such as contact list, employee emails, and CRM logins. Maintain proper documentation on all employee incidents, accidents, and worker's comp issues, and perform investigations when necessary. Manage and handles Benefits with the third party provider Lead Open Enrollment Conduct internal audits regarding benefits and payroll deductions. File all necessary reporting documents in accordance with applicable federal and state employment laws. Requirements Strong computer skills Able to work more than 40 hours when necessary to meet tight deadlines.
