Job Description

A family-owned business is looking for a Payroll Generalist to support payroll administration, timekeeping, benefits, employee records, and general HR activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain employee timecards Investigate and correct payroll and timekeeping errors Maintain accurate employee files and records Support employee benefits, including enrollment and 401(k) Assist with onboarding, leave requests, and employment verifications Support HR compliance and required reporting Assist with employee relations and HR-related questions Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information Provide general HR and administrative support as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of payroll experience preferred Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field preferred Working knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP Strong communication and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Knowledge of federal and state payroll requirements preferred Kumabe HR is the emerging leader in staffing and human resources consulting in the state of Hawaii with a focus on temporary staffing, executive recruitment and human resource solutions.
