Cedar Rapids, IA Schedule:
Full-Time | Onsite Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable HR Generalist to join their team on a contract basis. This role will support a variety of human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, recruitment support, benefits administration, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing
+ Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
+ Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and compliant
+ Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
+ Assist with recruiting activities, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
+ Support benefits enrollment and leave administration
+ Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies
+ Prepare HR reports and assist with audits as needed
+ Partner with managers and employees to support day-to-day HR initiatives Requirements What We're Looking For
+ Previous experience in Human Resources, preferably in a Generalist role
+ Strong understanding of HR practices and employment compliance
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
