Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Training and Onboarding to lead our training initiatives and facilitate seamless onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instructional design, adult education, and talent management, with a passion for developing engaging learning programs. This role involves designing comprehensive training curricula, managing learning technology platforms, and supporting employee development to enhance organizational performance. Key Responsibilities Assist with all training and onboarding activities in the Niles office. Interview, screen, and hire qualified caregivers. Collect, review, and maintain applicant documentation. Initiate and monitor background checks and onboarding requirments. Train new hires and onboarding staff on company procedures and compliance standards. Create and manage caregiver ID cards for Niles office locations. Procide oversight and support to Training and Onboarding Coordinators across all branches. Conduct daily check-ins with coordinators to ensure consistency and address issues. Review onboarding documents to ensure compliance after coversions. Review spreadsheets, and onboarding Orientation Calendar. Assist with weekly reporting and operational projects. Provide training support at other locations when needed. Ensure training materials and onboarding processes align with company policies and regulatory requirments. Serve as backup for the Manager and assist with departmental leadership when needed. Perfom other duties as assigned by the Director of Operatons. Qualifications Bilingual Spanish (speak, read, and write) Proven experience in training & development, instructional design, or related roles within human resources or organizational development. Expertise in curriculum development, adult education principles, and program management methodologies like ADDIE. Proficiency with learning technology tools including LMS (Learning Management System), Adobe Captivate, Workday, Salesforce, SharePoint, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems such as Workday. Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations and facilitate effective training sessions. Knowledge of performance management techniques, employee relations strategies, and HR sourcing practices. Experience in content development for diverse audiences along with technical writing skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
