Project Manager (Talent Strategy & Culture)Duration:
12 Months Remote or onsite: North Chicago, IL 60064Summary:
The Project / Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting the Discovery Research organization by driving talent strategy and fostering culture & engagement initiatives. This position will collaborate with the Director of Strategy and Culture, Business HR, leadership teams, and project teams to implement programs that drive high-performing team excellence and support our workplace culture.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leaders to execute talent strategy plans, including talent support/sponsorship, onboarding, and career development programs.
- Implement strategy and plans for culture and engagement, in alignment with Discovery Research and R D strategies, governance structure, project management structure and progress reporting.
- Develop and manage processes for measuring and improving employee engagement, wellbeing, and organizational culture within Discovery Research.
- Lead project coordination for culture and engagement initiatives (e.g., employee surveys, feedback sessions, recognition programs, onboarding, leadership forums).
- Support and/or build SharePoint and Unily sites for complete transparency and communication across organization.
- Track, analyze, and report metrics related to engagement, retention, and talent development.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in talent and culture-related processes.
- Support change management efforts as new programs or initiatives are rolled out.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 3-5 years of project or operations management experience, ideally within a research or technical environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing talent, engagement, or culture initiatives.
- Analytical mindset; comfortable with data and metrics.
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive projects to completion.
