Onsite Position Summary:
Provide operational support to purchasing and procurement operations activities.Background & Context:
Core responsibilities include creating shopping carts, creating purchase orders (POs), following purchase orders through the full lifecycle, submitting contract requests, tracking contract-request progress, resolving vendor-related issues, supporting invoice-resolution activities, managing vendor-change requests, and coordinating purchasing-process follow-through.Key Responsibilities:
- Create shopping carts and purchase orders.
- Follow purchase orders through the full lifecycle.
- Submit contract requests and track progress.
- Resolve vendor-related issues and support invoice resolution.
- Manage vendor-change requests.
- Coordinate purchasing-process follow-through.
- Provide work product and results on time, accurately and consistent with expectations.
- Communicate complex, technical issues clearly (verbal and written).
Qualification & Experience:
- Strong purchasing/procurement support experience.
- Experience supporting shopping carts, purchase orders, contract requests, vendor coordination, invoice follow-up, and purchasing-process tracking.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end purchase-order lifecycle management.
- SAP and SRM experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, customer-service orientation, organization, detail orientation, and follow-up capabilities.
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Prior pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated environment experience preferred.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholder groups.
