Our client is looking for an HR Generalist in Kokomo, IN! This contract opportunity (possible extension or direct hire for the right candidate) offers a starting pay rate range of $22 to $25.28hour (benefits are available). Position is 100% onsite. Administer the hourly employment office functions and processes, assist with workforce analysis, deployment and people power management based on contractual obligations and corporate policies. Manage the day-to-day Employment window functions: leave tracking, reinstatements, general employee questions and support, records management, etc. Implement the onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce. Support the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodology. Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives. Assist with the administration of the national and local collective bargaining agreements

Experiences:

Employment/Labor Relations/Manufacturing experienceUtilize lean manufacturing tools in the context of employee developmentAnalyze and utilize data to make decisionsExperience with managing conflict and having difficult conversationsDemonstrated ability to be approachable, able to communicate with all levels of employees, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degreeMinimum 1 years of experience in Human Resources or related fieldProficient with Microsoft SuiteStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Strong follow up, problem solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to work variable shifts, including weekends
