Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a proactive approach to human resources management, with a focus on talent acquisition, workforce management, and employee development. We are looking for a preferred candidate who has a passion for helping others and is compassionate towards families impacted with autism. Duties Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews to ensure effective talent acquisition. Develop and implement affirmative action plans to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization. Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires. Assist in succession planning efforts to identify and develop internal talent for future leadership roles. Utilize HR software systems such as PeopleSoft, iSolved Hire, and SAP for managing employee records and HR processes. Support workforce management initiatives by analyzing staffing needs and developing strategies to meet organizational goals. Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management. Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations while ensuring that company policies are upheld. Benefits administration Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimization of staff coverage needs Support HR Manager in Performance Evaluations and staff development Help build company culture and drive our company mission and values Requirements Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR best practices. Familiarity with affirmative action planning and talent management strategies. Proficient in using HR software systems such as PeopleSoft, iSolved Hire, or SAP. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess workforce needs and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. A commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
