Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support payroll, benefits, and people operations activities for a services environment in Lansing, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position will focus on payroll-related processes while helping maintain accurate HR records and compliance. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in payroll, transactional relations, and HR administration, along with the ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
  • Guide employees and managers on workplace matters, policies, and day-to-day HR questions while helping resolve concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Administer benefits-related processes such as enrollments, updates, deductions, and employee communications regarding available programs.
  • Maintain and update employee information within ADP to support accurate reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Process payroll activities across the full cycle, review data for accuracy, and assist with resolving discrepancies before final submission.
  • Perform account reconciliations related to payroll and benefits to help ensure financial accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Support HR administrative functions by preparing records, tracking employee changes, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll, benefits, and employee data issues while promoting smooth HR operations.
