Full-Time Job Description:
2+ years of HR or related experience Conduct human resource generalist activities in the areas of safety, recruiting, selection, onboarding, orientation, training, employee relations, employee engagement and payroll. Assist with communication and enrollment of benefits, safety, and wellness programs, working in conjunction with the corresponding functional departments. Support continuous improvement activities to identify and resolve opportunities and gaps within the HR function. Utilize Workday, TCP, and other related HRIS to administer payroll, wages, status change, leave entitlement, attendance, and other related personnel transactions. Assist in FMLA, Disability, and other leaves of absence programs. Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all relevant labor laws. Promote open door communication with all employees; be visible to ensure employees feel at ease to approach for questions and be available to counsel as required. Maintain appropriate professional affiliations and participate in professional development activities that foster continuous learning and ensure business compliance with applicable state and federal employment, wage, FMLA, OSHA and other regulations and/or procedures. Other duties as assigned Experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred. #ORBIS #LI-CD1
