Job Description

Job Summary:
A Human Resource Generalist will administer and process employee-qualified leave of absence programs, such as accident leave, short and/or long-term disability, and FMLA. They will monitor and track absence status, documentation, and return to work dates. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations. Administer and maintain FMLA, benefits, and safety documents (COMP). Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, or leaves. Maintain and update human resources documents such as handbooks, or evaluation forms. Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures. Advise management and employees on leave laws with paid time off, workers compensation and short-term and long-term disability. Analyze data for trends and patterns and report findings to management. Facilitate performance reviews, benefits, or other human resource related tasks. Other duties as they arise or assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Experience and knowledge of a manufacturing company daily operations. Proficient verbal, written, and computer skills Minimum of three (3) years of experience in HR or bachelor's degree preferred Additional certificates preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
Frequently sit for extended periods of time Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend Requires employee to occasionally work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions. Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury. Occasionally lift 30 pounds
