Job Description

Are you ready to dive into a detail-oriented role as a Payroll and HRIS specialist? FedPoint is seeking an experienced individual to join the HR team for a temporary assignment from August 3, 2026 tentatively through mid-December 2026.
What You'll Do:
Payroll Processing:
Be the payroll maestro! From bi-weekly to off-cycle payrolls you'll ensure every paycheck is accurate. This also involves reviewing timecards, reconciling data, and answering employee questions.
HRIS Administration:
Dive into the world of HR tech! You'll optimize our systems, troubleshoot any glitches, and ensure our HRIS database runs like a well-oiled machine.
Human Resource Reporting:
From bi-weekly to end of quarter reports, you'll be the go-to guru for all things HR reporting, ensuring data accuracy and compliance every step of the way.
What You'll Bring:
3+ years prior experience processing payroll 3+ years experience working with a HRIS. Experience working with ADP Workforce Now preferred Advanced Payroll and HR information systems skill set. Expert level Microsoft Office Suite skills, specifically Excel Thorough knowledge of payroll related laws and regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of payroll practices, tax compliance, wage and hour regulations, labor and employment laws. Payroll Professional or SHRM certification preferred High School diploma or equivalent required
Location:
Portsmouth, NH Hybrid work - 2days per week in office, typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays 40 Hour work week
Compensation:
