We are looking to train positive, motivated individuals who want to do meaningful work, assisting people diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities in reaching their goals. Join us and train for an entry-level career in the healthcare/education field! We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to actively recruit candidates for positions in assigned programs and visit various ACLD facilities in order to offer increased access to HR personnel. In this role, you will: Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including conducting interviews and initial screenings, collaborating with managers on hiring decisions, completing new hire paperwork, processing requisitions, conducting background and DMV checks, and tracking employee referral bonuses. Support managers and programs with staffing needs, providing guidance on ACLD policies and procedures, anticipating staffing challenges, and coordinating temporary staffing and relationships with staffing agencies. Lead recruiting and outreach initiatives, including on-site recruiting events, college and community career fairs, and partnerships with college career placement offices to build candidate pipelines. Coordinate onboarding and employee orientation, conducting orientation sessions as assigned and ensuring new hires receive accurate and timely information throughout the onboarding process. Provide accessible HR support across the organization, maintaining HRIS records and regularly visiting ACLD facilities to strengthen communication and provide direct HR assistance to employees and programs.
We require:
