Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations. This position will work closely with the HR Manager and serve as a primary resource for employees and supervisors. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and comfortable supporting employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new-hire orientation
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Assist employees with benefits, policies, payroll, and general HR questions
  • Support employee relations matters and workplace investigations
  • Provide guidance to supervisors regarding policies and employee concerns
  • Coordinate performance reviews and corrective-action documentation
  • Manage leave requests, attendance matters, and workers' compensation paperwork
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and employee communications
  • Track required training and maintain compliance records
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with audits and special projects
  • Provide additional support to the HR Manager as needed Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Approximately 2 or more years of HR Generalist or comparable HR experience
  • Experience supporting employees in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and standard HR practices
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and HR administration
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust at all levels
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, employee interaction, and taking ownership of day-to-day HR responsibilities.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
